Sophie Bear stays in Grandma's new Motorhome!

 

 

Autocruise Pioneer from Cotswold Motorcaravans with Sophie Bear and her Grandma

Sophie's Grandma has decided to buy a new Motorhome. Sophie is very excited as she is going with them to pick it up. Mrs Keen is driving them down.

"It's very big!" shouted Sophie excitedly.

As they drove off for the first time, Mrs Keen followed in her car. They had to drive the motorhome very carefully because it is so big. Sophie was enjoying herself as she sat in the back of the motorhome, looking out of the window.

 

When they got back to her Grandma's house, Sophie was able to climb up into the cab. She sat in the drivers seat and pretended to drive the van! "Brum, Brum," she said.

Next she decided to explore the inside. There is a big high bed up above the cab. Sophie climbed up onto this to see where she would be sleeping

Down below Sophie's bed was a little Spanish bull. He has a sombrero on, which is a very wide hat!

The bull said "Hola!" to Sophie, which means Hello in Spanish. Mrs Keen brought the bull back from Majorca last week while she was on holiday. He's a special present for Sophie's Grandma and he is going to live in the motorhome because he enjoys travelling.

On the other side of the motorhome is another animal. "It's like a zoo in here!" said Sophie, cheekily!

Sophie needs the toilet in the Motorhome - Thetford caravan toilet!

Then Sophie needed the toilet. She asked the bull where she could go and he showed her the special motorhome toilet. Sophie looked at it and wondered where the water went when she flushed. The bull explained that there was a tank outside and that someone would have to empty it later. Sophie thought that was very funny!

 

Then Sophie looked out of the window again..

She decided to be very naughty indeed and waited until Mrs Keen wasn't looking. Look what she's doing - she'll probably hurt herself.

 

It was still sunny outside so Sophie decided to try some sunbathing beside the motorhome until it was time to go back home. She was so tired from her exciting day that she went to sleep - night night Sophie!

Parent's Note

Sophie Bear managed to get hold of one of the (possibly the first) Autocruise Pioneer Tasman 2007/8 models with an overcab bed. After being supplied by Cotswold Motorcaravans they took it down to Bidford Recreation Ground (over the bridge in Bidford on Avon) which is a lovely sunny spot by the Avon where you can park and barbecue. No height restrictions but there is a car parking charge. Sophie's Grandma will be touring the country with it in the next few weeks so don't forget to say hello and give them a wave. Tell them you know Sophie!
