Cute furry bear

Sophie Bear is very clever and likes to do homework. Mrs Keen has made her a book with a letter on each page. She has to draw, find and cut out pictures starting with that sound.

You can find pictures all over the internet, in clipart, in catalogues - even on Sophie's website! Just keep looking around.

 

Parent's Note

This activity will help your child learn their sounds. It would be especially helpful to sit with them and help choose the pictures, e.g. "Which one starts with the sound `a`?". You may wish to consult their teacher to find out if they are learning the sound "a" (i.e. "ahh") or letter name "a" (i.e. "ay").
